Sometimes our client's interests must be aggressively advanced in court. The court process is however often time consuming, costly and destructive. In a growing number of cases such as disputes between business partners or members of a charity the client's interests are best served by an early, cost effective and more satisfactory resolution of the matter. At DVC we are skilled and knowledgeable in negotiation, mediation and other alternate dispute resolution techniques and strategies. We make extensive use of settlement conferences and mediation in seeking resolution of disputes. If settlement cannot be achieved and a hearing is required, we utilize private arbitration as an alternative to the traditional court process.
